The collaboration follows Apple’s evaluations of various Chinese AI providers, ultimately selecting Alibaba to co-develop AI features that have been submitted for regulatory approval. This move aligns with Apple’s strategy to strengthen its position in China’s competitive smartphone market.

As of Feb. 11, Apple stock is trading at $231.87, up 1.85%, while Alibaba shares have risen 2.11% to $113.67.
